Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop - Day 1

Happy Monday!

What a great day to start a Gina K. Designs blog hop!  Today and tomorrow we will be featuring the newest sets from our wonderful illustrators.  On this day we have the pleasure of showcasing two very talented ladies, Melanie Muenchinger and Theresa Momber.

This is Melanie's set called Fabulous Holiday Labels:

Here is a close up of the card I made using this set.  I love bright red and light blue together.  And this set offers so many ways to use multiple color combinations!

Next we have Theresa's gorgeous set, Peaceful Holidays

I used one of the smaller images for my card and I absolutely love how it came together.  I am totally committed to white, green and pink with a splash of black.  I would use that combo for every card if I could get away with it!

Don't forget that you could win a $50 Gina K. Designs gift certificate by visiting and commenting on each designer's post (links below)  To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

If You Dream Big Enough

Happy Saturday!

I know I showed you this sentiment made into a tag just a few days ago, but I had to use it again.

This time I wanted to make a congratulations card for an expectant mom.  Don't you think the colors are perfect to celebrate a new life who is heading our way?

The stamp set I used is called Dream Big and is a $5.00 mini stamp set from PaperTrey Ink.  I heated some pink and aqua embossing powders I had on hand and then added a sweet little bow to the top.

Enjoy your Saturday and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #464 - Got Candy?

Happy Friday the 13th!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. I think these colors are totally befitting a post on Friday the 13th!

I used images from the Got Candy stamp and die sets available at Ellen Hutson.  I love making shakers and using googly eyes, so this card was a double win for me!!

You can click right here for the link to participate if you would like to join in the fun. This is only the first day, so you have plenty of time to create.  Be sure to check out the designers' work too because as usual, all of the inspiration projects are sheer perfection!

See you tomorrow!

Essentials by Ellen Mix it Up Challenge - Never Give Up

Happy Thursday!

Today I am playing along with the October Mix It Up Challenge over at Ellen Hutson's CLASSroom blog.

The challenge this month is to use Essentials by Ellen stamps along with Altenew Stamps.  I chose these two sets:

I also used the Altenew Watercolored Stripes Stencil which I would use on every card from now on if only I could!

I stamped the Never Give Up sentiment on the compact mirror and inside the card I stamped the Go Get it Girl sentiment from Altenew. So.....go get it girl and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Inspired by All the Little Things #67 - Thankful for You

Happy Wednesday!

This week at Inspired by all the Little Things, the graphic for challenge #67 is right up my decorating ally.  I love cream colored pumpkins and accessories. I enjoy seeing other people's orange pumpkins, but I like the neutral tones for my decorating!

I used two older fall sets from Ellen Hutson.  Both are designed by the talented Julie Ebersole.  They are Thankful and Got Candy.  The thinner lines on the pumpkins from the Got Candy set really helped me get my 'no line coloring' feet wet.

I hope you have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Dream Big Enough Gift Tag

Happy Tuesday!

Isn't this a great quote?  I thought it would be really cute on a gift bag so I am saving this tag for a special occasion (that I don't know anything about just yet).

The stamp set is called Dream Big and is a $5.00 mini stamp set from PaperTrey Ink.  Usually stamps like this are all one piece, but this one has multiple stamps so you can line them up as you wish.  I took advantage of this by stamping the "anything" banner on a separate piece of card stock and then foam mounting it.  It gives just a bit of extra texture.

The multiple stamps also made using both silver and gold embossing powder a snap!

I'll be back tomorrow with something else new to share with you.

See you then.
