Hello Monday Friends,

Here is my card for this week's challenge at Inspired by All the Little Things.   I was totally inspired by the colors in the photo below.

To make my card, I used supplies from PaperTrey Ink, MFT Stamps and Reverse Confetti.  Special shout out to Jen at Reverse Confetti.  I'm not going to tell you what she did for me....let's just say she really blessed me when we visited at the Pinners' Conference and then again later that same week.  So here is a look at the Reverse Confetti stamps and dies I used:

Reverse Confetti is owned by a fantastic girl and she has wonderful products.  I hope you will take a look at the site.  Be warned though....you are going to fall in love with Reverse Confetti!

You should play along with the challenge too. You have plenty of time!  Be sure to check out the creations from the design team.  You will be totally inspired and impressed with all their talent.

MFT Stamps 2016 Design Superstar Contest - Entry #3 - Have a Tweet Birthday

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my final entry for the 2016 Card Design Superstar Contest over at MFT Stamps. They are giving away ten $250 gift certificates and naming 10 Card Design Superstars.  Maybe THIS card will be the one that catches their eye....let us pray.

For my pair of tropical birds, I used the Birds of Paradise stamp set.  I colored them in fun colors that compliment all the sequins in my shaker bird cage.  My birdcage die cut is from MFT Stamps too, but it has been retired.  If you check the website, they have another bird cage die that is even fancier and you will love it.

Here's a look at the Birds of Paradise stamp set:

For my checked panel,  I used the large stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 13 die set.  This is a great set and I use it all the time!

I love making shaker cards.  And adding these adorable birds made it even more fun!  Wish me luck and I'll let you know if I win!!!!!!

See you tomorrow!!

MFT Stamps 2016 Design Superstar Contest - Entry #2 - Our Thoughts & Prayers are with You

Hello Tuesday Friends!

Here is my second entry for the 2016 Card Design Superstar Contest over at MFT Stamps. The folks at My Favorite Things are giving away ten $250 gift certificates and naming 10 Card Design Superstars.  And I want to be one of them!!

For my leaf images I used the Geometric Greenery stamp set.  I don't have the die set, so I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the images before giving them just a little color with my Copic markers.

Here's a look at the versatile set:

For my sentiment I used the Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy stamp set. I applied gold embossing powder over Versamark ink for a softer look.  This is a must have stamp set.  The phrases and fonts are beautiful:

For my white panel (popped up on foam) I used the large stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 13 die set:

This was an easy card to assemble.  I guess my style is clean and simple and I'm good with that!  I will be entering another card before the deadline.  Tune in tomorrow to see my final card!

See you then!

Gina K. Designs Mix It Up Monday - Coffee, Let's do This

Happy Monday!

It's time for this week’s Mix It Up Monday Challenge over at StampTV and I am the lucky hostess, so this week, let's MAKE A SCENE!

My card represents the morning scene at my house - not so much for me, but for my husband.  He is powered by coffee for sure.

I used the Coffee stamp set by Claire Brennan to stamp all of my elements. I cut out each using my Silhouette Cameo. I had a general idea of the layout, but having the pieces cut out made it so much easier since I could move them around to get the look I was after. I added just a bit of Copic coloring to each image and then a wooden shelf and a gingham tablecloth. I'd say it is quite the colorful and lively scene.

Be sure to join in this fun challenge and make a scene to share.  You could win a $20 gift certificate to the Gina K. Designs store.  And really, who wouldn't love THAT?

See you again tomorrow!

Three Challenges - Happy Birthday

Happy Saturday!

I made this card for three different challenges.  It started out just for the Curtain Call Challenge.  Here is a look at the challenge graphic:

Since the theme is fall floral, I pulled out my Altenew Golden Garden stamp set and got to work.  So that means I can enter this card into the Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop over at Altenew.

And then there's the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge too.  So it am going to send it over there as well.

I had the best time making this card.  Stamp layering is not my forte, but I kept working on it until I was satisfied.

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

MFT Stamps 2016 Design Superstar Contest - Entry #1 - XOXO

Hello Thursday Friends!

Here is my first entry for the 2016 Card Design Superstar Contest over at MFT Stamps.

The folks at My Favorite Things are giving away ten $250 gift certificates and naming 10 Card Design Superstars.  How great is that?  I've already looked at some of the stunning cards entered and I'm just HOPING mine will catch their eye.

For my main images I used the Snuggle Bunnies stamp set.  These two cuties are colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from the same set. Here's a look at it:

I needed a soft place for them to land, so I pulled out my favorite Tag Builder Blueprints set from last year to make the little scalloped edged tag.  I stacked it three high for some added dimension.  Here is a look at the Tag Builder Blueprints 3 set that I used:

I will be entering at least one (hopefully two) more cards before the deadline.  I can't wait to share them with you!

See you tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #410 - Just Smile

Happy Wednesday!

Last week I had the honor of being chosen for the Guest Star Stamper spot at Color Throwdown.  I am super excited that I get to join the team for this week's challenge.

Here's my badge:

And here is this week's color palette:

I had the most fun putting this card together.  I used products from MFT Stamps, Reverse Confetti and Honey Bee Stamps.  Why not spread the love around.  Right?   I have linked to each stamp company's website, but you can also purchase these brands from Simon Says Stamp.

You have plenty of time to join in the fun because this is just the first day of the challenge!  You can click right here for the link to participate.  Wait until you see what the designers have in store for you.  They are going to knock your socks off!!

I'd love for you to subscribe to my blog while you are here.  I post a new project every single day and hope you'll be inspired by my blog.

Scripture Tree - Take 2

Happy Tuesday!

I couldn't resist using the Scripture Tree stamp set again. This time I gave my card an ombre affect. I love how the soft color at the top gradually becomes darker at the bottom.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is the place to go to find this stamp. You will be able to easily mass produce cards with this one.  I promise you will love using it.

Here's a look at the Scripture Tree stamp set:

Have a creative day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - I'll Never Forget You

Happy Monday!

Here is my card for this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.  This week, the challenge is Stamp It.

I used the elephant from the SSS Stacking Animals stamp set.  I find him so charming and I just can't stop using him!  I added a silver die cut cloud, silver sequins and some stamped raindrops to finish my little scene.  I love how it came together!

Have a great day, stay inspired, and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Inspired by All the Little Things #23 - Sending Love

Hello Sunday Friends,

Before I post anything about the challenge for today, I want to take a minute to reflect on this day in America's history.  I want to pay respect to those who lost their lives and honor those who were on the front lines, doing their best and becoming heroes too.

So here is my card for this week's challenge at Inspired by All the Little Things.  I made this card out of respect for all the people changed by this day in history.  My heart goes out to them. My soul is burdened for the families.  My prayer is that we never forget those who lost their lives or the heroes who are still with us.

Now here is the graphic for this week:

You should play along with the challenge too. You have plenty of time!  Be sure to check out the creations from the design team.  You will be totally inspired and impressed too.

See you tomorrow.

Hugs to You

Happy Saturday!

I have a little secret about this card.  Ready?  I was showing my grown son (who is an artist) how the MISTI works.  I grabbed this stamp and a piece of paper and stamped it twice using the MISTI and some Versafine Onyx Black ink.  He was impressed!

I let it sit on my desk for a while and then I realized it would make a very elegant card.  So I grabbed a sentiment, some black twine and silver sequins to finish it up.  Easy peasy!

I love when a card comes together so quickly!

See you tomorrow!

Scripture Tree

Hello Friday Friends!

For card makers the time is upon us to start making our Christmas cards.

Let me tell you something - the folks at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are making it easier than ever for us to mass produce our cards.

This is one stamp!  So it's just a matter of stamping once and you are done.  I did a little extra on this card.  I stamped the image with Versamark and then heat embossed it in both silver and gold.  But it was nearly as quick as simple stamping.

There are quite a few new Christmas stamps in the store so be sure to check them all out.  Here's a look at the Scripture Tree stamp set.

I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.
