Inspired by All the Little Things #13 - Thank You So Much My Friend

Happy Sunday!

Here is my card for this week's brand new challenge at Inspired by All the Little Things.  I just discovered this challenge in March, and I am loving it!

Each week we can work with whatever inspires us from the current inspiration photo.  It could be the subject matter or color, etc. This week I chose to use a butterfly on my card.  I added one on the inside too by the way!

Here is the graphic for this week:
Such beautiful butterflies!

For my card I used the butterflies from the Sending Love StampTV kit.  I chose sentiments from the Better with You and Made with Love stamp sets also from Gina K. Designs.  I used Memento markers for all of my coloring.  Even though I have had these pens for a LONG time, this is the first time I actually colored simple line images with them.

You should play along with the challenge too.  There is plenty of time to create a card.  Go ahead...you know you want to!!

See you tomorrow.

Addicted to CAS #87 - Happy Snail Mail

Happy Saturday!

A friend told me about another fun challenge and I just HAD to play along.  The site is Addicted to CAS.  CAS means clean and simple and truly that is my favorite type of card!

This week the "code word" is PLAID, so I got right to work and pulled out some sweet plaid paper from my stash.  That little snail and sentiment are from a brand new Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps set called Regina's Garden.

I wanted some texture on my background, so I embossed it using a stencil.  It gives just the perfect amount of embossing for a clean and simple card.  I built up my focal point and attached it to my card front using some fun foam.

Today is the first day of this challenge, so you have plenty of time to play along too.  Click right here for all the details!

Enjoy your day!  See you tomorrow.

A Little Gift for You

Hello Friday Friends!

Do you like making your own tags for gifts?  Me too!  But I find that right when I NEED a tag, I don't have time to make one.  So I've started squirreling away tags that I can grab as needed.

This one is made from products from the Sending Love StampTV Kit.  I LOVE the sheets that are ready for foil.  I used gold foil on this one. I also adore this flower.  Stamped with a sentiment on a card or die cut like this on my tag - swoon!

The Gina K. Designs website will be up again tomorrow after a week's hiatus, so be sure to check out all the fabulous products she has then.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #390 - Hello Beautiful

Hello Thursday Friends!

I'm sharing this cheerful card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge with you today!

First of all, let me say that this combination kicked my booty!  Yellow and navy?  Oh my.  I had nothing in my creative arsenal to prepare me for this challenge!  But I plunged in anyway!

Here is a look at the colors for this week:

I selected the Hello Beautiful stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and used some of the images to create my background pattern.  I used Gina K. In The Navy ink and it turned out to be a great color.  I used the matching card stock for matting.  Regarding this stamp set - it is a valentine set - but it has so many great icons and sentiments, it is easily a year-round stamp set.

You still have plenty of time to join the challenge!   You can click right here for the link to participate. Be sure to take a look at what the designers have created. You will be totally amazed and inspired to create. I am also linking my card to the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp which is another terrific weekly challenge.

See you tomorrow!

You Color My World

Hello Wednesday Friends!

I decided to make some note cards using one of the sweetest stamps from the Sending Love StampTV kit.  What I love about this stamp is that it represents the new retail home for Gina K. Designs.

As I type, Gina is getting this location ready for a grand opening.  I wish I could be in Wisconsin to help her!!  Instead I'll just show you how her new store - Village Paper & Ink - will look.

During the move, the website is down (until Saturday), but you can still visit StampTV and enjoy tons of free content.

Make it a great day and I'll see you tomorrow.

Case This Sketch #169 - Have a Farm-tastic Day

Happy Tuesday!

I was looking around the web for a sketch challenge and I came across Case This Sketch.  I decided to play along using the oh so cute Farm-Tastic stamp set from MFT Stamps.

Here is the sketch:

Starting with a sketch is fun for me.  I rarely do it, so it stretches me a bit.  Play along too.  It's a good one!

See you tomorrow!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Sweet on You

Hello Sunday Friends!

I've been watching the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge from afar for some time now.  THIS week I decided to join in.

The current challenge is simplicity.  What better for a Sunday card?  I used the Prim Blessings and the Baked for You stamp sets by Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps.  SNSS also carries dies which worked out well because this Tall Grass die was just what I needed to finish my water color focal point.

Here is the graphic for the current challenge:

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Sending Warm Wishes to Cheer You

Hello Wednesday Friends!

Get Well Innies is one of two brand new stamp set we have in the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps store.  It has lots of sentiments to use on your get well cards.  I used one on the front of my card and one on the inside too.

I used two other stamp sets to make my card - Prim Blessings and Baked for You. The sunflowers are from Prim Blessings and the little flower accents are from Baked for You.  I die cut and colored my sunflower images and built my card from there.  The Get Well Innies worked perfectly on this particular card layout.

Here are the sets I used to fashion today's card:

Have the most wonderful Wednesday and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Gina K. Designs Incentive Stamp - I Miss You

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you enjoyed the Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop yesterday.  I just couldn't believe how many ways I saw to use the new StampTV kit, Sending Love.

One more fun perk that Gina K. gives us is an incentive stamp.  If you spend $75, it is included in your order free - totally free!  Here's a look:

I used all but one of the stamps on my card today.  I love to cut my images with my Cameo, but these flowers are beautiful stamped multiple times as a background.  You'll be seeing that soon right here.

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

If you follow Gina at all, you've already heard her big announcement this week about opening a retail store.  Oh yeah!  Road trip to Wisconsin please!  One of the stamps in the brand new StampTV Kit is this one that looks like her new shop. Squeeeeel !!

You just have to check out the new kit.  It is called Sending Love.  It's probably the best kit ever - and even has matching envelopes included along with the stamps, card stock, patterned papers and foiling accents.

The whole team will be back on Monday for our inspiration blog hop.  Be sure to pencil us in for Monday at 8am.

Blessings to Ewe

Happy Tuesday!

I was thinking that this could be either a friendship card or a new baby card.  Either way I think the recipient would like the pinkness of it all!

My sweet little sheep and the sentiment are from the Sweet 'n Sassy Prim Blessings stamp set.  You must take a look at this set as there are some great images and sentiments!

My floral swag is a combination of stamps from MFT Stamps and some Silhouette cut files.  I just kept layering until I found a good mix.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Have a Happy Birthday

Happy Monday!

Thirty-three years ago (on a Monday) my only daughter was born.  She is still a spitfire and I adore her.  She has given me so many years of happiness and the feelings I have for her aren't even expressible with words.

So here is her birthday card with a little "something" tucked inside.

Have a wonderful Monday and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Happy Birthday

Hello Sunday Friends!

I just wanted to quickly share the card I made for our Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps leader, Korin.  Her birthday was Tuesday and we "showered" her with cards to wish her the happiest birthday.

My image and top sentiment are from the One of a Kind digital stamp set.  I love how easy it is to search through the digital stamps on the site.  They are completely organized and just a few clicks away from being in your stash.

I added a layered Birthday die cut to finish my card and I hope it made her birthday just a bit brighter.

Have a great day!

Make a Spash

Happy Saturday!

Here is another layout from 2014.  These boys have grown up so much now!  I am thankful that I can relive the memories I have through digital scrapbooking.  And the kids love looking through the books too!

I feel so fortunate to be involved in my grandsons' lives.  I am truly blessed!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you tomorrow.

Howdy - Thinking of You

Happy Friday!

I had these stamps and dies out on my desk the other day and decided to make two cards instead of just one.  I vowed to always do that...although it really hasn't happened.  But I think it's a good idea.

So anyway, here is card #2 from Lawn Fawn's Stuck on You stamp set and matching dies.

Enjoy your day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Sending You Thanks

Happy Wednesday!

My "thanks" card today utilizes a tiny stamp from the Sweet 'n Sassy  Creative Worship Songs of Praise clear stamp set.  It is easy to overlook the smaller stamps in a set, but as you can see, they can become the focal point of a card.

Here is a look at the Songs of Praise stamp set:

Inspired by All the Little Things #9 - You are in My Prayers

Happy Tuesday!

Sometimes we have to send sympathy cards and I just never have any on hand.  I guess they are not the most fun to make.  But I was inspired by the beauty of this flower from Gina K. Stamps.  It is from a set called A Year of Flowers 3 illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger.

So now next time I need a card like this....I am ready to roll.

I was also inspired by this challenge graphic to make a floral card:

You can check out all the lovely designs at Inspired by All the Little Things and even submit one of your own!

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you tomorrow.
