You Are My Most Favorite Friend

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my homework from the final day of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Six days of rainbows may not have been enough for me.  I really want to make some more rainbow cards!

This final day was about using additional items to make rainbow cards.  Kristina Werner showed a card using this flower technique.  She used Nuvo Drops, but I used enamel dots and gems.  This might be my favorite card of all.

I used the My Favorite image from Neat and Tangled for my sentiment:

I hope you've enjoyed seeing all my homework.  Stop by anytime.  I'm always up to something!

See you tomorrow.

Hello You

Happy Tuesday!

Here is my homework from day five of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Tomorrow I will share my homework from day six, which was the final day of the class.

Day five was all about rainbow stenciling.  I have a huge supply of stencils, but am just now starting to use them.  I think I just collected for a while.  I used Distress Oxide Inks for each color except the yellow.  I am not a fan of Fossilized Amber, so I've been using Gina K. Designs Wild Dandelion for all of my yellow inking lately.  It is a bright true yellow and I just love it!

I used these two images from Neat and Tangled for my sentiment:

Only one more day of rainbows!  But I've had such a fun time creating them, I might being adding more soon.

See you tomorrow.

You Will Never Regret Being Kind

Hello Monday Friends!

Here is my homework from day four of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Tomorrow I will share my homework from day five.

Day four was all about rainbow water coloring.  I am a total mess at water coloring because I can't let go of my need for control.  Even here I masked off the area where I wanted my water colored rainbow to reside.  I used Gina K. Designs inks to make my stripes.  I love the vibrant colors in her collection.  My technique is fairly simple.  I just smoosh the stamp pad onto my craft mat and then add some water.  A few brush strokes with my "water colors" and I had a rainbow!

Once the rainbow was completely dry, I stamped my sentiment which is from Lil' Inkers Designs.  A few sequins and I called it done!

See you tomorrow.

Love You

Happy Sunday!

Here is my homework from day three of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Tomorrow I will share my card from day four.

Day three was all about rainbow die cutting.  I used a rainbow die from MFT Stamps to make my colored strips and then taped them together before adding the rainbow to my die cut heart.  I was able to use a part of the leftovers to make my tag reinforcer to match. This class is so much fun!

See you tomorrow.

Beautiful Things are on Your Horizon

Happy Saturday!

Here is my homework from day two of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Tomorrow I will share my card from day three.

Day two was all about rainbow stamping.  I used this cute stamp from CASual Fridays for my focal image.  I stamped it all in yellow and then used rainbow colors on the very last part of each ray.  Then I added some coordinating bling just for fun.  I used inks from Gina K. Design because of the brilliant colors of each stamp pad.

See you tomorrow.

Color Throwdown #455 - Make Waves

Hello Friday Friends!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  And here is the sweet inspiration photo they have shared with us:

This Mermaid's Tail stamp and die is from Ellen Hutson.  I white heat embossed the tail and then colored it in with Copic markers.  I love that you could use any color at all on this stamped image!

You can click right here for the link to participate if you would like to participate.  You still have plenty of time to play along!  And be sure to check out what all the designers have made to inspire us this week.  You'll be glad you did!
