Do You Have Enough Crafting Supplies?

Happy Tuesday!

In just two days, the brand new Gina K. Designs release will be live.  The release party starts this Thursday at 7pm over at Stamp TV.   I can hardly wait to begin showing you some samples!

But for today, here is a card I can send to one of my sister-stampers.  It is a "just for fun" type of card.  This is the stamp set I used called, Art From the Heart:

I believe I have used every single stamp in this set.  If you are a crafter with crafty friends, it is a great set for you too.

Off to create some more cards to share with you!

See you tomorrow.

Dreams Really Do Come True

Happy Monday!

I colored up this little Adornits card with some water colors.  I love the different looks that happen depending on how much water is on my brush.  I have learned to wait until the whole piece is dry before determining if I like it or not though.  Water colors are funny that way!

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Uh Oh! Heard You Caught a Bug

Happy Sunday!

I am sharing a project on the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps blog today and I wanted to share it with you too.  I used the Get Well Critters clear stamp set to make my card.

Here is a look at the stamp set I used. There are so many adorable images and sentiments in this set.  It was hard to choose just one...so I chose more!

Curtain Call Challenge - Never Let Anything Dull Your Sparkle

Hello Saturday Friends!

Here is my card for the newest  Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  There is just a little bit of time left for you to join in the fun too!

The current challenge is Unicorns. I didn't exactly have any unicorn stamps, so I did a little creative coloring on a horse stamp and then added a sparkly horn.  The rainbow, horse and sentiment are all from MFT Stamps.  Everything is colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers.  I wish you could see all the glittery glow on this card!

Here is the graphic for the current challenge:

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Congratulations

Happy Thursday!

Yesterday, I was hunting for a birthday gift tag and I found this tag that I made last year.  Since I hadn't used it on anything, I decided to use it on a card.  The paper choices were easy.  Of course I would use purple gingham, and that green strip was sitting on my desk.

I love when a plan comes together!

See ya tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #402 - Smile

Hello Wednesday Friends!

Here is my card for the current  Color Throwdown challenge.  I used the Flourish stamp set from Concord & 9th to make my card.  It was fun to build this grouping with the challenge colors.  My sentiment is a Silhouette cut file that I made into a print and cut file.

So....check out this week's palette:

Hello

Happy Tuesday!

I've been taking an online card class about embossing, so I thought I would try this technique.  First I stamped the background and embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I went over the whole piece, blending with three shades of Distress ink.  The ink resists the embossing powder which is super cool.

I built my floral focal point using some die cut flowers I had cut the night before.  Now I want to color EVERYTHING in these soft hues!!  But I will try to restrain myself!

Have a lovely day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

You are in my Prayers

Happy Monday!

I've been trying out my layering floral stamps again.  This time with more success.  I love the way the stamps formed this rose so perfectly.  For an added touch, I used some embossing glitter in a few areas of the rose.  I love the sparkle!

And speaking of praying, let's all pray for law enforcement everywhere.  These senseless killings have to stop.

I am off to create a few more cards to share.  I'll see you tomorrow with a new project.

Thank You for Being There

Happy Sunday!

I stamped up some playful bunnies to share with you today.  They are from MFT Stamps and I just love how adorable they are!  I wanted to keep the focus on these two cuties, so I placed them on an elevated circle and just added a few gems to the mix.

I stamped my sentiment too low, so I added in a few hearts to fill the space.  I sort of love happy accidents!

I hope your day is full of love and fun.  I'll be back tomorrow with another project to share with you.

Hugs,

Susie

Color Throwdown #401 - Sending Prayers

Hello Friday Friends!

Here is my card for the current  Color Throwdown challenge.  I used the Build-able Bouquet stamp set from MFT Stamps.  I don't have the dies, so I just used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my images.  I actually love this method because the images with cut lines are permanently stored in my computer and with a touch of a button I can have LOTS of flowers to color!

So....check out this week's palette:

So much lovely color this week!

What's Moo?

Happy Thursday!

Just stopping by today with my card to ask you, "What's Moo?"

Sometimes I think MFT Stamps can read my mind!  I love stamp sets with farm animals and they have come out with two.  (Yes, I own them both.)

Enjoy your day and try something MOO (or new).

See you tomorrow.

If Not, God is Still Good

Happy Wednesday!

It's my turn to share a project on the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps blog and I wanted to share it with you too.  I used the Truth Quotes 1 clear stamp set as well as the adorable butterfly from the Winnie's Garden clear stamp set to make my card.

Here is a look at both stamp sets:

Hello There

Hello Tuesday Friends!

I was watching a Jennifer McGuire video yesterday and was inspired to try what she was demonstrating.  You can see the video right here.  She called it pattern stamping and sparkle coloring.

I used a tiny stamp set to stamp my pattern and embossed it in gold.  Then I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.  I LOVE the result!

My little greeting is set back into a circle that I cut and then framed with three stacked circle frames.

What a fun technique!  Jennifer is just so clever and I'm super happy that I can catch some of her inspiration!

I'll see you tomorrow with another fun project!

Hugs,

Susie

Monday means a chance to begin again!  Now how great is that?

Designs.  You just might want to take a look at all the goodness at the website!

You Are Loved So Much

Hello Sunday Friends!

I hope your week is starting off well.

I've had this design in my head for a while and just finally applied it to stamps and paper.  I am loving painted sentiments paired with printed ones.  I even mixed these up with a bit of color change just for fun.

The flower stamp is from the Wplus9 Summer Blooms set.  I am about to use it again...so be watching for that!

Have a wonderful day and an even better week!

We Have Loads of Fun

Hello Saturday Friends!

I just had to share one more of the cards I made for my friend Vickie.  It is really the same as the others except the background paper.

So I'm sharing it because of that great background paper from Lawn Fawn.  I can't tell you how much I love it!  I am hoping they will make more in another color palette!

So anyway....have a marvelous Saturday!!

Such a Sad Day in America

Hello Friday Friends,

I had a project to post today, but I just can't do it.

Details are still coming in....but right now five Dallas police officers are dead and more are fighting for their lives.

Please pray for the families of these brave men and women.  Please pray for the doctors.

As the day progresses, we will learn more.  And none of it will be good news (except for the healing of those injured).

Shed a tear for all involved.  Lift them up.  Evil will not prevail...but it IS putting up a good fight.

I am sad deep in my heart today.

Thank You For Being So Darn Amazing

Happy Thursday!

When I saw the Mama Elephant Thank You Wishes stamp set, I KNEW it would be coming home with me!  I just love the oversized focal image and all the supporting sentiments are really well thought out.

I used two Lawn Fawn papers to make my shaker card.  I hadn't made one in a while...but it's like riding a bike.  This one came together easily.

So shake, shake, shake and have a great day!

Sorry to Hear of Your Accident

Happy Thursday!

It's my turn to share a project on the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps blog and I wanted to share it with you too.  I used the Get Well Critters clear stamp set to make my card.

I colored the poor broken-armed chicken with Copic markers and then added my sentiment and a few enamel dots. I added a black mat to my circle and then adhered it to my card. I added an additional sentiment and some splatters to finish my card.

Here is a look at the stamp set I used. There are so many adorable images. It was hard to choose just one!

Congrats on your Growing Family

Hello Monday Friends!

I really don't have anyone in mind for this card, but I just can't wait until I do.  Look at all that pink laundry!

I am having a ball with the Loads of Fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  I plan to use some of the smaller elements on a card soon.  Also, I want to try to make a shaker card using the washer/dryer.

So off I go to create.

See you tomorrow.
