I'm Here If You Need Me

Happy Thursday.

Today's project uses some dies that were completely new to me.  I knew that Memory Box made stamps, but I just found out they make really wonderful dies too!

So I had to purchase a few and check them out.

The two I used on this card are the Twiggy Tree and the Leaf Canopy.  I purchased both from Ellen Hutson.  She always offers fantastic customer service and quick shipping.

The canopy actually cuts out the leaves and then the color comes from a piece of paper underneath.  I just used some distress inks to color a white scrap of cardstock and attached it behind the blue.  Then I added the tree to the top of the blue piece.

I added a sentiment, a seam binding bow and some jewels to complete the card.  I can see lots of possibilities for that tree.  And I'll be showing you some more of the dies I purchased really soon.

I just had to show you this little fellow who has discovered my Cuttlebug!  He loves cutting out shapes.  His mom grabbed her Iphone and snapped this picture while he was hard at work cutting out some "people"  Aren't grandkids the best?

I hope you've enjoyed today's project and that I'll see you again tomorrow.

Susie
