Stampendous Saturday Challenge - Whee....

Happy Saturday!

It's the fourth Saturday in April, and that means the Stampendous team is continuing our monthly challenge for you. This month, in honor of Earth Day, we are challenging ourselves (and you) to make something that uses product(s) that are recycled, repurposed, or reused in some way. The possibilities are endless! Doll up a household item and turn it into something beautiful, use something unexpected on your card, or even just use up some scraps you've had in your stash forever.

Here is what I made for you today:

Graphic 45 Little Darlings Collection 8x8 pad
Copic Marker
Spellbinders Dies
Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper Flower/Seam Binding/Pin

So what did I recycle?  The main background is a chipboard piece that I bought about three years ago.  I was at a scrapbook convention and a vendor had a pile of oddly shaped sturdy chipboard pieces.  I bought a handful because I KNEW I would make a cute book from them.  Well....three years later....no book.  But I did make a cute little art piece that is now hanging on my tag tree.

Don't forget - we want YOU to play along with us!  You have until Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST to add your direct link to our collection at the end of this post (or on the Stampendous blog).  You do not have to use Stampendous products, but we sure love it when you do!  As an extra incentive for playing along, one lucky crafter (drawn at random) will receive this fabulous Mother's Love Perfectly Clear Stamp Set.  It is available in stores now and will be on the website for purchase soon!

Due to shipping restrictions, the winner must have a US address.

We hope you will have a chance to play along with us this month. And remember, you can enter as many times as you'd like!

I'll be back tomorrow.  See ya then!

Susie, it was so wonderful getting to meet you at the Crafty Scrapper today! What a thrill to get to talk to someone who's artwork I admire so much. I told my husband that I met someone famous today. LOL!
