Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge - You are the Perfect Combination

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing my card over at the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge!  I love all the pinks with the yellow and green.

Check out the current Pinterest board which serves as the inspiration today:

I used the Courage fundraiser stamps and dies to make all of my flowers.  The quote is from the same set.

If you are inspired by the Pinterest board above, be sure to play along.  There is still plenty of time!  You might just be the randomly selected participant who receives a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store. And you can't beat that!

To be eligible, you MUST use Essentials by Ellen products and the current Pinterest board as inspiration.  Then you can link up your creation using the inlinkz button on the challenge post.

Have fun creating and I'll see you again tomorrow.

First Day of Third Grade

Happy Monday!

...and so many good wishes to all the children starting a brand new school year today.  One of them is my grandson Caleb.  I have made a similar sign for him each year since pre-k.  When I gave him this one, he brought out the other four to compare them all.  That made me so happy!

Wishing the teachers, moms and children all good things today.  I hope it is a great day for all.

See you tomorrow!

Curtain Call Challenge - Thank You

Happy Sunday!

Here is my card to share over at the Curtain Call Challenge today.  Look at the magnificent and striking colors in this inspiration photo:

I have had this Altenew Painted Flowers stamp set for quite a while and decided to break it out for this card.  Using the blue for the leaves seemed a bit scary, but I absolutely love the combination with the pinks and orange.

This is such a fun challenge and the team members are all so talented!  Don't forget to pop over to the blog to see what the team has created.  And join in the fun if you can!

Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #10 - Get Well Soon

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sending my card over to challenge #10 at Lawn Fawnatics.   Here is the current graphic and this time the challenge is to make a custom sentiment.

I've had this little tissue box colored up for a while, so my main task was to make the sentiment.  I used letter stamps for the get well soon and then a follow up sentiment from another stamp set.  It was fun to try to figure out what to use!

You can play along too if you have time.  Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawnatics blog to see all the fun inspiration for this challenge.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Thanks for Owl You Do

Happy Friday!

In less than two weeks, we will have a new release from Gina K. Designs.  Sometimes it's hard to wait between release parties.  Am I right?

I made this card for last month's release and I just had to share it with you.  I used the Wise Old Owl stamp set to stamp my images and sentiment.  There are matching dies also, but I didn't use them for today's card.

Here is a look at this adorable set which is available at Gina K. Designs right now:

I hope you have a great day and you'll come right back tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #456 - Thinking of You

Hello Thursday Friends!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  And here is the bright and summery inspiration photo they have shared with us:

I used the Pineapple Perfection stamp set which was released recently from Concord and 9th. What a fun set!  I also have the matching dies so I used the banner die to hold my sentiment.  I like that the focal image is so big.  It was easy to color which always works for me!  I added a few enamel dots to finish my card to share with you today.

You can click right here for the link to participate if you would like to join in the fun.  There is plenty of time to play along!  And be sure to check out what all the designers have made to inspire us this week.  You'll be glad you did!

See you tomorrow!

You Are My Most Favorite Friend

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my homework from the final day of the Rainbow Maker Online Card Class hosted by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen.  Six days of rainbows may not have been enough for me.  I really want to make some more rainbow cards!

This final day was about using additional items to make rainbow cards.  Kristina Werner showed a card using this flower technique.  She used Nuvo Drops, but I used enamel dots and gems.  This might be my favorite card of all.

I used the My Favorite image from Neat and Tangled for my sentiment:

I hope you've enjoyed seeing all my homework.  Stop by anytime.  I'm always up to something!

See you tomorrow.
