Curtain Call Challenge - May Your Days be Merry and Bright

Hello Wednesday Friends!

Here is my card to share over at the Curtain Call Challenge today.  The theme is acorns which is perfect for this time of year.  At first I wasn't sure what to do, but then I remembered that I had very recently bought a Thinlets set from Stampin' Up that included a layered acorn die.

My sentiment is popped up but I just wasn't able to photograph the dimension that exists. Still I love the look of the shiny gold, silver and copper acorns along with the gold embossed sentiment.

Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Inspired by all the Little Things #73 - Happy Holidays

Happy Tuesday!

I love the sweet pink and mint in this week's Inspired by all the Little Things graphic.  I knew right away that I wanted to create some vintage looking ornaments in these colors.

I used the Holiday Trimmings stamps and dies from W Plus 9.  I can't wait to create with this set again.  I already have some fun ideas swirling around my creative brain.

Maybe you can join in the challenge.  I would love to see what you create.  See you tomorrow!

Two More Challenges Today - Warm Wishes

Hello Friends!

I wanted to pop back in today so I could show you a card I am entering in two challenges.  I just got home from a week at Disney World and am trying not to miss any of my favorite challenges!

First up is the Color Throwdown challenge #469.  Here is the inspiration photo:

Next up is the Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge.  Here is their challenge photo:

I used products from Concord and 9th to make my card.  I am so totally hooked on their turnabout stamps.  Addicted may be a better word!

Have a great evening and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Gina K. Designs Mix It Up Monday Challenge - Merry Christmas

Happy Monday!

A new challenge went up on StampTV very early this morning and I get to be the hostess this time!

This challenge is called Get In Shape.  No, this is NOT the season for exercise and dieting, so choose a shape or two and use them on your project.

As you can see, I went with squares and circles.  Pretty basic, but still packs a punch with all the foiling!

Here is the link to participate if you'd like to.  It will be fun to see what everyone creates!

See you again tomorrow!

Happy Hanukkah

Happy Sunday!

Today I am once again sharing with you my absolute, without a doubt favorite stamp sets of all time. They are from Gina K. Designs and are part of the Merry and Bright Stamp TV Kit.

Here is a look at the entire kit:

Today I used three images from just one of the sets.  I used the pine cone, the branch and the word Hanukkah.  I used silver embossing powder on my images to make them sparkle.  While my card is simple, I think it is a lovely addition to my holiday stash.

Have a terrific day and I'll  be back tomorrow to share another Gina K. Designs card.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Happy Saturday!

Today I am sharing with you my absolute, without a doubt favorite stamp sets of all time. They are from Gina K. Designs and are part of the Merry and Bright Stamp TV Kit.

Here is a look at the entire kit:

I used both stamp sets on my card.  One set has the branches I used to hang my ornament and the other set has the sentiment and the ornament.  I cut the sentiment apart and used the "and a happy new year" on the inside of the card.

If I could love a StampTV kit any more than this one...well it hasn't been marketed yet. That all I know!

Have a terrific day and I'll  be back tomorrow to share some more Gina K. Designs goodness.

Happy Holidays and a Happy Mew Year

Happy Friday!

Today's Christmas card stars a mischievous cat...and his friend, the mouse.

I used Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ and Fancy Foils to make my background.  All of her Therm O Web products are right here.  You will want them all once you start using them.  Foiling is just such an easy way to pack a sparkly punch.

My focal image and sentiment are from the Purrfect Christmas stamp set designed by Chris Dayton.  I just wonder what that cat is thinking. Don't you?

I'll see you again tomorrow with a classic Christmas card in a not-so-classic color scheme.

Deck the Halls

Happy Thursday!

Today's Christmas card is whimsical for sure.  Look at that adorable tree!!

I used Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates™ and Fancy Foils to make my background.  You can find all of her Therm O Web products right here.  I love adding sparkle and shine to my holiday cards!

I pulled out the Fabulous Labels dies to make the solid green background for my focal image.  The white oval was also cut using this set of dies.

My focal image and sentiment are from the Noelle Mouse stamp set. I colored the tree and holly using Copic markers and added enamel dots as ornaments.  I love the cuteness factor of this card.

I'll be back tomorrow to share a card with a cat as its star.  MEOW!  See you then.
