Color Throwdown #483 - Hello Friend

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. The colors for this week's projects are coral, green and kraft.  Can you believe how gorgeous this room looks?  I think it all starts with that door!

I used the Monogram Collection - H stamp set from Concord and 9th for my card today.  I own the H, the T, and the Heart stamp sets in this collection.  They are so much fun to use.  I also included one of the panels I stamped yesterday using the Fleur 1 stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio.  I used three ink colors from Gina K. Designs and two Copic markers to achieve the look I wanted.  I didn't do any shading - mostly because my cat was in my chair, so I had to do my coloring standing up.

On the inside I stamped Hello Friend and one additional flower.

See you again tomorrow!

Inspired by all the Little Things #81 - Birthday Wishes

Happy Tuesday!

Here is my card for the current Inspired by all the Little Things challenge.  I love all of the greenery in this photo:

I used the largest image from the Fleur 1 stamp set from Pinkfresh Studios and colored it using Copic markers.  For the card base I stamped some of the smaller images in the set. I've already stamped three different backgrounds for future cards and I can't wait to get them colored.

I would love to see what you create if you decide to join in the challenge.  Until then, I'll see you tomorrow!

It's Your Birthday

Happy Monday!

Yesterday I shared a black and white card with you and today I can't resist sharing yet another one.

This is the set I used to make my card:

It is the Gina K. Designs current incentive set called Doodle Sayings which you will get free with a $75 purchase.

If you are looking for an adorable little set with lots of great sentiments, I think this one might just be for you!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Happy for You

Happy Sunday!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes a very simple card can pack a big punch?  I think this one qualifies for that category.  I love black and white with red.  It always makes me take a second look!

I used all Gina K. Designs products to make this card.  I absolutely love the Petite Patterns paper that I used.  Did you know this paper can be foiled?  I didn't do it this time, but any of Gina's black and white patterned papers will accept foil.

So have a perfectly wonderful day and I'll see you back here again tomorrow!

Thanks for Being There

Hello Saturday Friends!

These "stitched" flowers are from the Stitched Roses stamp set by Waffle Flower.  It was probably the most challenging set I've ever used.  It really isn't stitched at all, even though it looks like cross stitch.  The images are made from stamping multiple layers with different shades of ink.  When I finally figured out how to line up all the layers, I stamped a bunch for future use.

This is one of my "future use" cards.  Because the image is so complex, I wanted to make the card itself very plain.  So I just cut out the image with a scalloped mat and attached it to a green card front.  I did give it a bit of sparkle with a few sequins.

That's it for today.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card project to share.  See you then.

Color Throwdown #482 - You are Beautiful Inside and Out

Happy Friday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. The colors for this week's projects are pink, grey and kraft.  At first I didn't think I could make a card with these colors, but once I got started, I really liked the combination.

I used the Bloom stamp set from Neat and Tangled for my card today.  I've had it for a while, but this is the first time it has seen some ink.

You can click right here for the link to participate if you would like to join in the fun at Color Throwdown.  You will love scrolling through all the inspiration if have a bit of time to look.

See you again tomorrow!
